Sarova's LION HILL LODGE

Built in a natural setting, the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge impresses every guest with its panoramic view of the pink shoreline created by millions of flamingos on Lake Nakuru. The Lodge is situated within the Lake Nakuru National Park and is surrounded by natural flora and fauna in its beautiful grounds.

THE FLAMINGO RESTAURANT

The aptly named Flamingo Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining areas where a wide variety of international and local cuisines are served. The restaurant is located on the ground floor with a patio overlooking the pool, lounge and the great expanse of the Rift Valley. Serves buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is Table d'hôte with a capacity of 200 people. The Rift Valley Bar provides the perfect place to enjoy a cool drink and watch the sun set over the Lake. For those who want to add a bit of spice to their dining, experience a Bush Breakfast or Lunch. Dinner can be served outside within the Lodge premises.

 

WILDLIFE AT LIONHILL - The park boasts of a huge variety of animals and birds including Leopard, buffalo, baboon, waterbuck, marabou stock, pelican and of course the world famous flocks of flamingo. For the bird-watching enthusiast there are 450 species found in the park vicinity. The serene surroundings of the park also offers the visitor the rarer opportunity to see the greatly endangered Black Rhino.

ACCESS - Sarova Lion Hill is 160 Km from Nairobi, a two-hour drive through the spectacular Eastern Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. It is also possible to fly from Wilson Airport in Nairobi if preferred and this journey takes just 30 minutes.
